Our church is a reformed and presbyterian congregation that is...

...a worshiping church.  We believe worship should be respectful, God centered and grounded in the historic principles of worship.  See our “Worship Service Preview” for a sample Order of Worship.

... a teaching church.  We believe that obedience to the Great Commission requires that we emphasize teaching all that God has given to us in the Bible.  We cannot take the rough edges (those things that offend sinful human nature) off the Bible, rather, as Paul said to the Elders at Ephesus, we want to be able to say that we “did not shrink from declaring to you anything that was profitable, and teaching you in public and from house to house...” and we “...did not shrink from declaring to you the whole counsel of God.” (Acts 20:20, 27)

...an evangelistic church.  We believe it is not only a duty, but also a great privilege to tell people that God has provided a way of salvation from our sins through His Son, Jesus Christ.

...a reformed church.  We are committed to the principles of the Protestant Reformation, sometimes called the “solas” (from the Latin word for “alone”).
• “sola Scriptura” - The Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments alone are the Word of God and our only authority for faith and life.
• “sola Gratia” - Salvation is by the grace of God alone.  We cannot earn God’s favor through our own merit.         • “sola Fide” - We are saved by faith alone, not by our good works.
• “sola Deo Gloria” - All things are to be done for the glory of God alone.

...a confessional churchThe Westminster Confession of Faith as well as the Westminster Shorter and Larger Catechisms are the doctrinal standards of our church. We believe that the Westminster Standards are a faithful summary of the teachings of the Bible.

...a church that enjoys fellowship.  The fellowship of the church grows as we grow together in faith, hope and love.  We share in the gifts and graces that God has given to us through Christ and the Holy Spirit.
